Education Notice Posted for New VT-DFR Pre-Licensure Education Requirements Effective July 1, 2013


VT-DFR has notified NMLS of a change to its pre-licensure education requirements.   Effective July 1, 2013, individuals seeking licensure with VT-DFR will be required to complete two (2) hours of VT-DFR specific education.  The new pre-licensure education requirements are as follows:
– 3 hours of Federal Law;
– 3 hours of Ethics (must include fraud, consumer protection, and fair lending issues);
– 2 hours lending standards for Non-Traditional mortgage products;
– 10 hours of General Electives
– 2 hours of VT-DFR Defined Electives

NMLS Annual Conference Education Slides Available


The PowerPoint slides that were presented at the NMLS Annual Conference and Training in San Antonio on March 1 are now available in the course provider section of the NMLS Resource Center under Administrative Notices  http://mortgage.nationwidelicensingsystem.org/courseprovider/Pages/Resources.aspx

Education Notice Posted for New WA-DFI Pre-Licensure Education Requirements Effective April 1, 2013
