This is a reminder that the deadline for course providers to submit Late CE course completions to NMLS is February 28 at 5pm ET. Any course completion submitted to NMLS by this deadline will be credit banked that evening so that the MLO’s record will show compliance for CE, and the MLO will be able to apply for reinstatement on February 29. This deadline is the absolute final deadline to have 2011 CE completed and reported to NMLS. Any MLO who had a requirement to complete CE in 2011 and who misses this deadline will likely have their license status affected.
Any Late CE course completion a provider may receive on or after the February 28 5pm ET deadline should be reported to NMLS for credit banking. However, it should be noted that the system will likely not update in time for an MLO to file for reinstatement by 2/29 – hence the deadline above. Course providers will assume responsibility for credit banking Late CE on March 1.
Updated: There is a mandatory conference call for all course providers who are continuing to offer Late CE courses at on Feb 29 at 3pm ET. Call-in details will be sent to course providers via e-mail.
